I never update..so here's a tidbit of what's been going on.
SINCE August...I'm LOVING school this year...even though I'm a bit overinvolved- RA, Peer Minister, Concert Choir, RA Council..and Pledging for Zeta Iota Lambda which is almost DONE..thank god! (I LOVEEE MY BIG SISTER) So I've been busy and my grades are decent..3.6 gpa for now..we'll see where it goes though!!!! eek
in other news..I broke up with my (now) ex boyfriend a little over a month ago and I'm handling things well I suppose..
but whatever..sorry for being neglectful |

I've been realllllly emotional lately...not like bitchy, but lets just say "easily pushed over the edge-emotional." It's bothering me...life's flying by. Oddly, I'm extremely excited to go back to school. But in good news, I found out I got another scholarship worth 3500 so thas the best news I've heard in awhile. that is all. |

So my first year of college is over. I have mixed feelings over it, but I definitely need and deserve the break. I've had some great experiences- Curtis Week, Cor Team, being hired as an RA, etc. and not so great ones that I don't care to name. But I guess that can some up life. I learned more about myself than anything else I can honestly say. And, the friends I made here I feel like I've known my whole life- both of my Stephs, Hippie (even though she's not at SHU anymore :-(), John, Janigga, Chris, Jared...and at the same time I learned who my REAL friends are at home. I'm much appreciative and fortunate of/for the few but true ones who are still there.
After arriving home yesterday, I went to the art show to see my sister's pieces which were awesome, and I saw Ms. Main who I miss tons and is still the same wild person as she was.
So all in all there have been changes that have made me the same strong person that I am but I have also learned more about my faults and intend on working with them.
I can't wait for next week! :-) |

I'm sick of girls bitching about their bodies/figures. It's so stupid, especially since half of them are perfectly thin. Not that thinness is beauty. People need to shut the fuck up and be happy with what they have including their health. AAAAND, not fish for compliments, I hate that.

OUCHIES! Thank god I got my 7 mile run in before the minor foot fuckin' surgery I had done today. So now I have to stay off my foot, damn it.

So today (yesterday)was nice. I had my interview which I guess I'll find out about next month.. AAAAND, Carebear went running with me today :-) which made me ssssssoooo happy. AND, we saw a gorgeous calico cat which I picked up :-) but it brought back memories....of my Nutter Butter.
I went bowling with my babe too but was in a sour mood because of everything else going on lately :-/
But, as usual he cheered me up.
Tommorrowwww..I get a good ol' fashion Doctor's visit.... hmmmm

So my schedule for the fall sucks cuz I got fucked with half of the classes related to my major being closed out on me, but I'm taking:
Biology of the Human Body
Psych. 102 w/ Dr. Hamel :-D
Art History
Approaches to Literature
History of Catholicism in America...should be interesting.
I'm wicked excited for the spring because I plan on taking:
Literature of the Holocaust w/ Fr. Jean
Social Work 101 - FINALLY
Sociology: Diversity & Oppression w/ Dr. Cauvin :-) :-)
and a shitty Comp. Sci. class haah
and hopefully SO 254 if not Anthropology. blah.
I have the most thoughtful friend ever; Kelly- thanks for cheering me up :-D
Oh, and 3 AM conversations with my Stephykins are THE best :-D especially since I have the most fucked up sleeping schedule for no good reason.
So, my advisor wanted me to get a job in Bpt. this summer at a Women's/family clinic thing which makes good money but I had to turn it down because the training is at a really inconvenient time..plus I'm already doing the camp counselor thing.
Retreat in Mystic :-D- I'm psyched, but I won't be home for Carebear's 18th...:-/ so I'm kinda torn.
So I'm gonna be home for the summer in almost a month because of COR Team training...haha can't wait to spend like half of my time next year with Fr. Jean.
